The Hello Future Apex Hackathon has come to a close! Over five weeks, builders from around the world joined the final chapter of the Hello Future Trilogy to ship on Hedera. With mentorship from Hedera and its ecosystem partners, developer tools, and an active global community, hackers had what they needed to turn ideas into working solutions and compete for $250,000 in prizes.

Builders shipped production-ready projects across five main tracks: AI & Agents, DeFi & Tokenization, Sustainability, Open Track, and Legacy Builders. The Legacy Builders track gave returning participants a chance to refine and scale solutions from previous Hedera hackathons. Of the $250,000 prize pool, $50,000 went to partner bounties and side quests, supported by the broader Hedera ecosystem.

From first-time hackers to returning builders, every participant shipped something worth showing. The result is a final chapter worthy of the trilogy: competitive, diverse, and full of projects ready to tackle real-world problems.

Below are the winners of the five main tracks, who took home a combined prize pool worth $250,000 USD. Bounty and side quest winners will be notified directly via email.

AI & Agents

1st Place – Space Lord

Prize: $18,500

Space Lord makes the Hedera Agent Kit living. It’s an open-source CLI that combines exchange, wallet, and portfolio tracker into one local app, driven by an OpenClaw agent through natural language. The agent makes direct SaucerSwap V2 contract calls, with no APIs or wallet UIs in between. Deterministic safety limits let the agent read but never write. Live on Hedera mainnet.

2nd Place – Dossier

Prize: $13,500

Trust in news has collapsed to 28% (Gallup 2025), yet 1.67M people turned to Grok for fact-checking on X in just 7 months, and it’s wrong 45% of the time. Community Notes averages 15 hours per verdict. Nobody is solving this well.

Dossier runs three AI agents around the clock that scan sources, cross-reference claims, score confidence, and attest every step on HCS across three dedicated topics. Users contribute evidence to developing stories, and the system compounds intelligence over time. Registered in the HOL Registry via HCS-10, Dossier lets other agents discover and query verified intelligence with protocol-level payments. Thousands of attestations are live on HashScan.

3rd Place – Aivy

Prize: $8,000

Aivy is a no-code platform for deploying autonomous AI agents on Hedera. Each agent owns a Hedera account, holds HBAR, and executes on-chain operations (transfers, NFTs, DeFi swaps) through natural language.

Ed25519 signing keys are protected by AWS KMS envelope encryption, never stored in plaintext, and wiped from memory in under 50ms. Agents collaborate via ERC-8183 on-chain escrow. AivyVault enforces per-agent spending caps. DeFi plugins: SaucerSwap, Bonzo, Chainlink, Pyth, CoinCap, Memejob.

DeFi & Tokenization

1st Place – Ketch

Prize: $18,500

Ketch is a peer-to-peer marketplace for NOAA Individual Fishing Quota shares (the legal right to harvest a portion of a fishery). Today, quota trades through opaque broker networks that charge 3-8% per deal with weeks of paper-based processing. Ketch tokenizes quota shares as HTS NFTs on Hedera, so permit holders can buy, sell, and seasonally lease quota directly via smart contract. No broker, instant settlement, and transparent on-chain pricing.

3rd Place – Lamina

Prize: $8,000

Lamina is an autonomous AI agent that manages the full lifecycle of tokenized real-world assets on Hedera. One natural language command tokenizes a bond, and the agent then handles compliance (KYC/OFAC screening), coupon distribution, NAV updates, regulatory reporting, and maturity settlement autonomously.

Sustainability

1st Place – Hedera Green Bonds

Prize: $18,500

Coppice is the first on-chain green bond plus sustainability-linked bond hybrid. Green bond compliance and issuance is managed by Asset Tokenization Studio. Greenwashing concerns are mitigated through a Verifiable Credential audit chain using Guardian, with a coupon penalty when the issuer misses its targets. Combining the two creates a compliant RWA product with on-chain transparency and real teeth, so the issuer’s financial incentives align with the environmental impact investors want.

2nd Place – Eggologic

Prize: $13,500

Eggologic is a real circular economy hub in Uruguay that transforms restaurant organic waste into eggs, protein, compost, and verified environmental assets, all on Hedera. Waste is bioconverted via BSF larvae; each delivery becomes a Verifiable Credential through Guardian MGS (EWD-RB v0.3 policy), validated by an independent VVB, and tokenized into EGGOCOIN and CIN NFTs. Five roles, eight schemas, and a dashboard that talks directly to Guardian API and Mirror Node via Cloudflare CORS proxy. CPR: ~$0.001. Total monthly blockchain cost: $0.20. Tech Stack: Hedera Guardian (MGS), Hedera Token Service (HTS), Hedera Consensus Service (HCS), Mirror Node, Vanilla JS + Tailwind CSS (Vercel), IPFS. Setup notes: no local setup required.

3rd Place – Miny Labs

Prize: $8,000

Hestia is a fire ledger that records wildfire mitigation activities as Verifiable Credentials on Hedera and mints Wildfire Resilience Credits (WRC) that insurers accept for premium discounts. Communities register treatment sites, plan prescribed burns, report fuel reduction outcomes, and get independently verified by satellite imagery. A six-component risk score is computed on-chain, and every treated acre mints one WRC token. Modeled on Tahoe Donner HOA, which secured 39% lower premiums through proven forest management. Setup: live at www.hestia.bond. No local setup required. Guardian UI at http://165.22.212.120:3000 (login: akash / Akash@17327). Source code at github.com/akash-mondal/hestia.

Open Track

1st Place – Kalam Network

Prize: $18,500

Kalam Network is a blockchain-native social and communication platform built on Hedera, where your wallet is your identity. Every user receives a Hedera account and soulbound DID NFT as their permanent, verifiable digital identity. Messages are E2E encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and consensus-timestamped via HCS. Payments use TMUSD, a stablecoin issued by our Tamam Consortium on HTS, signed through MPC custody. The platform includes KYC/AML screening, organization management with RBAC, broadcast channels, and real-time notifications. Built with production infrastructure partners (Tamam MPC Custody, Mirsad AI), not hackathon mocks. Fully developed, not a prototype. Tech Stack listed in the readme file. Character limitation prevented us from sharing here.

3rd Place – Merxet

Prize: $8,000

Merxet is an end-to-end encrypted retail protocol on Hedera that enables QR-based checkout without POS hardware, apps, or merchant accounts. Sellers publish catalogs and generate QR codes, while buyers scan, shop, and pay in crypto. Orders, payments, and messaging are handled through Hedera services, with no centralized storage for sensitive order data and full end-to-end encryption between buyer and seller. The result is a simple, private, and hardware-free checkout experience built for real-world retail.
