Atomic Wallet is the first desktop wallet for HBAR holders, providing decentralized storage solutions and token swaps

Dallas, TX — February 27, 2020 — Hedera Hashgraph, the enterprise-grade distributed ledger, has announced the addition of its native HBAR coin to Atomic Wallet, the decentralized multi-currency wallet with built-in atomic swaps.

Lionel Chocron, Chief Product Officer of Hedera Hashgraph, said, “As Hedera Hashgraph builds its decentralized ecosystem, we strive to offer HBAR holders the most innovative, decentralized storage solutions. The announcement of HBAR’s addition to Atomic Wallet, combined with other noteworthy integrations soon to come, are important steps in advancing the Hedera community. Atomic Wallet’s desktop wallet has been built to impeccable standards, with the highest standards of security, anonymity, and decentralization.”

On Atomic Wallet, private keys and other data are stored on the user’s device, PC, or mobile, in an encrypted form, preserving anonymity and security. The wallet’s encryption solution means that private keys never leave a user’s device. Atomic Wallet also allows for decentralized in-platform currency swaps, without the need for a cryptocurrency exchange, thus eliminating third-party involvement.

Konstantin Gladych, CEO of Atomic Wallet, said, “We’re constantly analyzing the market and seeking potential and innovative assets to fulfill the needs of our users. Hedera Hashgraph is a fast, fair and highly secure network, and Atomic is thrilled to collaborate with it! I’m sure everyone will enjoy managing HBAR coin in the wallet because of high speed and low-fee transactions greatly protected as within the wallet, as by the Hedera consensus itself.”

The first desktop wallet to list HBAR, Atomic Wallet’s PC application can be downloaded onto a user’s computer and is available on all major operating systems, including Windows, MacOS, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Debian. Soon, HBAR will also be supported in the wallet’s mobile application, for iOS and Android.

Chocron concluded, “Atomic Wallet is a game-changing crypto storage solution. A core part of the application’s mission is preserving security and anonymity for users, while eliminating centralized, third-party involvement. Atomic Wallet allows users to control their own assets and Hedera looks forward to offering HBAR holders more solutions like this, which highlight our commitment to creating a fully-fledged decentralized cryptocurrency ecosystem.
