Hackathon Tracks
The hackathon has the following tracks available for developers to choose to focus on, which will factor into judging:

Entertainment: Build an application within the context of gaming, media, or other entertainment industries.

Sustainability: As a carbon-negative network, Hedera is well suited for building sustainably-minded solutions, be it to reduce the carbon footprint of NFTs or manage carbon credits.

Finance: Solve the everyday challenges of people interacting with the financial world.
Prizes
The top 10 projects that integrate Hedera will receive $200 USD each. The top 3 application builders will be awarded:
1st Place – $5,000 USD
2nd Place – $3,000 USD
3rd Place – $2,000 USD

The hackathon will be conducted in two phases:
1. Ideation Phase: Learn Hedera in instructor-led workshops and develop innovative plans to best use Hedera.
2. Build Phase: Design, develop and execute real-life real-world applications using one or more of the Hedera network services.
