In alignment with this commitment, we are progressing with the deprecation of insecure Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) Mirror Node endpoints. **Below, you’ll find an updated timeline and detailed plan of action** to ensure minimal disruption for users. #### **Revised Deprecation Timeline:** - **Wednesday, June 18th, 2025:** Initial Brownout - Duration: 1 hour *– Start: 10:00 AM CST* - **Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025:** Second Brownout - Duration: 12 hours *– Start: 10:00 AM CST* - Users should anticipate significant temporary disruption during this window. - **Wednesday, August 20th, 2025:** Final Deprecation - Permanent shutdown of insecure endpoints #### What’s the Change? The APIs have transitioned from the legacy **hcs..mirrornode.hedera.com:5600** endpoints to the new **.mirrornode.hedera.com:443** endpoints. Older SDK versions are also affected by this change as they use the legacy HCS mirror node endpoints. - **Old**: [hcs.previewnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600](http://hcs.previewnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600) - **New**: [previewnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:443](http://previewnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:443) - **Old**: [hcs.testnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600](http://hcs.testnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600) - **New**: [testnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:443](http://testnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:443) - **Old**: [hcs.mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600](http://hcs.mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:5600) - **New**: [mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:443](http://mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com:443) ***Note:****The*[mainnet-public.mirrornode.hedera.com](http://mainnet-public.mirrornode.hedera.com) *address is not impacted and will still work as an alias of*[mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com](http://mainnet.mirrornode.hedera.com) . #### **Who’s Affected?** - **SDK Users:**Users of SDK versions lower than those listed below need to update to ensure continued functionality: - **Java SDK**: [v2.20.0](https://github.com/hashgraph/hedera-sdk-java/issues/1316) or higher - **JS SDK:** [v2.22.0](https://github.com/hashgraph/hedera-sdk-js/pull/1448) or higher - **Go SDK**: [v2.23.0](https://github.com/hashgraph/hedera-sdk-go/pull/720) or higher - **Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) Mirror Node Endpoint Users:**If you’re currently using one of the old endpoints, please update your configuration to use the new standard endpoint: **.mirrornode.hedera.com:443**. By upgrading to the new endpoints, users will benefit from increased security and stability, ensuring a better overall experience when interacting with Hedera services.
