DALLAS, June 25, 2020 -- Hedera Hashgraph, an enterprise-grade distributed ledger platform, today announced the winners of the Hedera20 Virtual Hackathon. The hackathon featured several challenges and ran for six weeks from May 1st to June 12th, 2020. Teams were challenged to solve issues surrounding digital identity, security, charitable giving, healthcare, climate change, and beyond.

The Hedera20 Virtual Hackathon is officially over. There were over 800 registrants and over 40 projects submitted at the end of the event. For those that missed the livestream event, here is a recap of the hackathon winners.

We've recently wrapped up submissions for Hedera20, our first virtual hackathon, with over 800 attendees. The event was focused on the newly released Hedera Consensus Service (HCS) and had over $35,000 in HBAR prizes.
