# Introducing Hedera Boost for startups to build, launch, and grow

December 19, 2019

Hedera

Hedera provides secure, scalable infrastructure for real-world decentralized applications in finance, AI, and sustainability, governed by global enterprises.

Developers and entrepreneurs wanting to build the next era of applications on Hedera shouldn’t face any obstacles on their way to a successful launch. That’s the premise of [Hedera Boost](http://hedera.com/boost)
, our new startup program now open to the world. If you’re in the process of planning, building, or launching an application that uses Hedera, it’s made for you.

#### What version 1.0 offers today

Building with such exciting, new technology has its challenges. After spending a few months speaking with startups building on Hedera we have discovered three areas where we think we can help the most:

- Technical guidance and ecosystem tools
- Marketing and business development support
- Subsidizing transaction fees

It’s in these three areas that we’ve designed the first iteration of Hedera Boost to help provide. We’ll work with your startup to understand the right architecture for your project and help you overcome technical hurdles with one on one support.

Then, when you’re ready to launch, we’ll be ready too. We’ll provide your project with $1,000 USD worth of hbar to cover your initial transaction costs. Letting you quickly bring your app to market and start finding product market fit without hurting your burn rate.

In some cases, depending on the market your application is targeting, we’ll also work with you to promote your application to the community. You can share your story in blog posts, enable our team to help you reach enterprises, and participate in press opportunities.

#### What’s ahead

As you know, at Hedera we often look to the future. We see Hedera Boost being able to continually evolve as needed by our users and the market. If you have feedback, suggestions, or outlandish ideas we want to hear from you; we’re already looking to expand into hackathons and demo days.

In the meantime, Hedera Boost is here today. We’re here to make your project a success – from the first testnet transaction you send to launch day and beyond. All we ask in return is that you share what you learn with us and the community in order to help us all improve.

If you’d like to apply to Hedera Boost it’s open and waiting for you at [hedera.com/boost](https://www.hedera.com/boost)
.
